📌 Key Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:

Educational Background:
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or
- A Diploma in Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) from a recognized institution.
Licensing and Registration:
- Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
- Must hold a valid practicing license issued by NCK.
Certifications:
- A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of clinical internship experience in a recognized healthcare facility.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
- Ability to document patient records accurately and efficiently using electronic medical systems.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse at Equity Afia Nairobi, your responsibilities will include:

Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Assisting in clinical procedures, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress.
Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient records using HMIS platforms.
Participating in health education and promotion activities within the community.
Collaborating with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintaining a safe and clean environment in compliance with infection prevention and control guidelines.
Responding to emergency situations with appropriate clinical interventions.
Upholding patient confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of care delivery.
