Oljabet Hospital, a leading Level 4 healthcare facility serving Nyahururu and its environs, is seeking a qualified and motivated Laboratory Technologist to join our dynamic team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST

Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests with accuracy and efficiency

Ensure proper sample collection, handling, and processing

Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality control standards are met

Interpret and record test results in a timely manner

Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols

Support clinicians with accurate diagnostic information

Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS OF LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST

Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences

Registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board

Proficiency in hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and serology

Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
